I think it's incredible to contemplate the distances women walk in water-deprived areas, first to get to the water and second, to carry the heavy jugs back to their families. Participating in an event like this can only help to make others understand the need for sustainable, potable water in developing nations and areas suffering from disasters, draught, and other circumstances. I hope those of you who read this will do a little research, explore the site, and join me on March 22!
